Submitting Assignments Via MarkUs

MarkUs is an open-source software which aims to provide support for different aspects of assignment delivery and management. The key feature of Markus is that it enables online submission, collection, and return of assignments, through both a web application and a SVN repository. MarkUs also recreates the flexibility of grading assignments on paper, within a web application.

In this course, we will manage all assignment submissions electronically using MarkUs. You will need to have a Teaching Labs (CDF) student account in order to login to MarkUs and submit your assignments. If you are enrolled in the course, a Teaching Labs student account has already been assigned to you. You can look up your Teaching Labs account info here using your UTORid.

NOTE THAT STUDENTS WILL BE ADDED TO MARKUS AFTER THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS.

Submit Through the web application:

Remember that code developed for assignments must run on teach.cs and so should be tested on teach.cs prior to submission. You can use of the teach.cs labs or log in from a remote machine by ssh'ing into teach.cs.
