Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a method of remotely storing and retrieving data using devices called RFID tags. Technologies like RFID seem very appealing to the public and private sectors because they are both efficient and cost effective for tracking purposes. My talk will discuss some of the privacy concerns regarding this technology, considering that RFID devices are very small and difficult to detect. Furthermore, I will discuss some of the regulations put forth by the courts in regards to the use of RFID tags.
