Our animation depicts a story beginning with a yellow bird that is enjoying the water in a birdbath. His relaxation is interrupted when a second bird lands right beside him in the birdbath. This second bird notices that his presence is not appreciated and waddles to the other side of the birdbath. The first bird, now having all the space he wants, again enjoys the cool crisp water, until he is hit on the head by an acorn. Displeased, and thinking it was from the second bird's doing, he confronts the second bird, where they squable. During this time, a second acorn falls, almost immediately followed by Petie "the prankster" Squirrel. Petie picks himself up after the tumble and looks for a quick exit. Not finding one, he hides back into the water of the birdbath. Both birds now realize who the culprit was, and we leave them plotting to seek revenge.
