Some course notes for CSC 258, Winter 2008

The primary reference into these notes is intended to be the course outline page. That web page lists what we've been doing, day by day, and cites references. In most cases there is suitable reference material in the textbook. These notes fill in some things which aren't as useful for us from the textbook, or which I happened to have lying around so I threw them in anyway.
